The Village Church at Shell Point AV Technical Specifications
The Village Church is a fully equipped performing arts center based in the Shell Point Retirement Community in Fort Myers Florida.
The venue is able to seat up to 1000 patrons for concerts, meetings, church services and other live events. The main auditorium is fully equipped for high production value audio, video, lighting and cable broadcast. This page strives to outline the AVL capabilities of The Village Church. The venue is staffed with 2 full time technicians.
FOH Position
Our FOH position is located in the balcony, house left about 30 degrees off center. There is a PA enclosure aimed at this mix position.
Audio
Mixing – We are equipped with a Yamaha CL5 digital audio console with 2x Rio 3224 32×24 channel I/O boxes. 2 Waves WSG-Y16 cards for 32 channels of processing are installed in the console connected with a Waves Extreme-C server. A Dell Windows 11 PC (7th Gen i7, 32GB, 1TB NVME) is connect to WSG with a 27″ Acer Touchscreen Monitor and a Waves Complete plugin subscription plan.
Wireless Mics – We have up to 11 channels of Shure ULX-D digital wireless audio available including 8 Beta 87 handhelds, 11 bodypacks, 12 headsets, 8 WL193 lapels and an instrument cable. These are managed via Shure Wireless Workbench 6 are transmit audio over Dante.
