Music Ministry

The Sanctuary Choir shares in the ministry of song during weekly and holiday worship services. The choir also works with local musicians and guest artists to present several concerts throughout the year.  Often the guest artists share their gifts during Sunday morning worship.

The Celebration Ringers, a three-octave English handbell ensemble, adds inspirational music to worship services and holiday events.  The four member Joy Belles also rings in with their special harmonies.

Concerts are held throughout the season, providing the highest level of sacred artistic expression.  Featured artists have included The King’s Brass, Ken Medema, Michael Faircloth, The National Christian Choir, Aaron Shust, Stephen Lynerd, and Joel Raney. Chorale groups also visit frequently, including Indiana Wesleyan and Moody.
In addition to concerts open to the public, the ministry of music is shared throughout the year with residents at the assisted living facilities and Pavilion skilled nursing center. Hymn sings, casual performances and interactions with guest artists and seasonal caroling provide opportunities to engage in worship through song.  Often members with special gifts share in worship services.
